This Privacy Policy explains how RallyFind ("RallyFind," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Adults only: RallyFind is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not permit anyone under 18 to use the Service.

Account information: email address, login credentials or third-party login identifiers, and basic profile details you choose to provide (e.g., display name).
Age verification: date of birth (if you provide it) to enforce our 18+ requirement.
Profile and preferences: sport preferences (tennis/pickleball), formats (singles/doubles), session type (match/practice), and other settings you enter.
Content you submit: match postings, messages, and any other information you enter in the Service.
Support communications: information you provide when contacting us.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages/screens viewed, and approximate location inferred from IP (coarse).
Essential cookies and similar technologies: used for login/session management, security, and core site functionality.

Location information

Search location (current): we currently allow you to enter a ZIP code or City/State to search for matches and locations.
Device location (possible future feature): we may offer an optional button to use your device's current location to improve search results. If implemented, we will request your permission through your browser/device. You can decline and continue using ZIP or City/State.

How We Use Your Information

Provide and operate the Service (create accounts, enable matchmaking features, and deliver core functionality).
Verify eligibility and enforce our 18+ requirement.
Facilitate communication between users (messaging and match coordination).
Personalize your experience (show relevant matches and locations based on your preferences and search area).
Improve, troubleshoot, and maintain the Service (including security monitoring and preventing fraud/abuse).
Respond to support requests and communicate service-related notices.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

No analytics / ad tracking: We do not use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and we do not use advertising cookies for behavioral advertising.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

RallyFind uses essential cookies (and similar technologies) only. These are required for the Service to function, including:

Authenticating users and keeping you logged in (session cookies).
Security protections (e.g., preventing fraudulent requests, CSRF protection).
Remembering core preferences necessary to operate the Service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable essential cookies, parts of the Service may not work.

Third-Party Services We Use

Social login providers (Google and Meta)

You may choose to sign in using Google or Meta (Facebook/Instagram). When you use social login, we receive certain information from the provider (such as a unique account ID, your email address, and basic profile information depending on your provider settings). We use this information to create and secure your RallyFind account.

Your use of these providers is subject to their own privacy policies and settings.

Google Maps Platform APIs

RallyFind uses Google Maps Platform APIs (such as Places and/or Geocoding) to help power location search and related features. When you use these features, your location inputs (for example, ZIP code or City/State) may be sent to Google to return results. Google's processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including:

With other users: your display name and profile details you choose to show may be visible to other users as part of matchmaking and messaging.
With service providers: vendors that help us run the Service (for example, hosting or email delivery). They may access information only to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.
With third parties you choose: when you use social login (Google/Meta) or Google Maps features, those providers process certain data as described above.
For legal and safety reasons: if we believe disclosure is required by law, to protect our rights/users, investigate fraud or abuse, or respond to lawful requests.
Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes, including maintaining account integrity, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations.

If you delete your account (where available) or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your information, unless we need to retain it for legal or security reasons.

Adults Only (18+)

Account information: you may be able to review or update certain profile information in the Service.

RallyFind is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed and stored in the United States (and possibly other countries where our service providers operate). These locations may have different data protection laws than your country.
